“He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length” (21).
How contrary is that to normal things?
A slave become as a son?
A servant as the heir?
Gentle thoughtfulness and considerate respect accomplish amazing things in a heart that might otherwise be disposed toward enmity. Continue reading

Do it consistently.
Do it calmly.
Do it painfully.
Do it redemptively.
Do it patiently.
