Reading:
Deuteronomy 30:15-20

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil” (15).

Today I will make many choices — among attitudes, words, thoughts, values, purposes, goals.

Will I choose life or death? good or evil?

I rarely think of it in those terms.

My Web browsing and my feet will take me places. Will I choose life?

My email and my interaction with people will give me more opportunities to choose. What will it be?

Life and good, death and evil — what will be your choice, Mark?

Death and evil, life and good — what is your choice, Mark?

At this moment, I choose life.

May I remember to choose life again and again through the day.

[Choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19)]
from Deuteronomy 30:19

Oh, after reading Deuteronomy 30:15-20, I read this in a little book: Take One Step. Read it!

Reading:
Exodus 5:1-9, 20-6:1

“And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.” (2).

That’s a legitimate question, don’t you think?

I shouldn’t just do something because someone tells me to do it. That’s absurd!

So…who is the Lord…that I should obey Him?

Make your case!

[Now shalt thou see what I will do (Exodus 6:1)]
