For by Him we shall do valiantly!

We have our battles, challenges, and obstacles. Most of the time we each want to fight our own battles. We want to overcome our own challenges. We want to clamber over our own obstacles.

That’s fine. God expects us to do our part, to go out with faith in Him.

Sometimes, though, part of faith in Him involves this:

“The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool” (Psalm 110:1).

By Him shall we overcome. By Him we shall do valiantly.

By Him.

Remember, Mark. Don’t forget again!

[The Lord at thy right hand (Psalm 110:5)]

Reading:

Proverbs 18

That’s what I want for myself. And I want to contribute to others having it too.

When a person has a strong spirit, he can carry a heavy load.

But a wounded spirit is too heavy a load to carry.

“The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?” (Proverbs 18:14).

The panting hart may lose heart but he can’t give up or he will die.

Lord, keep me persistent no matter how I feel. Amen.
