More to latch onto, this time from Psalm 88:

O Lord God of my salvation,
I have cried day and night
before thee:

Let my prayer come before thee:
incline thine ear unto my cry;

For my soul is full of troubles….

…Lord, I have called daily
upon thee….

Lord,
why castest thou off my soul?
why hidest thou my face from me?

Question is, do I have sufficient faith left to keep hanging onto it as something for me.

Do you?

At least three times the Psalmist repeats that in Psalm 80. That is my plea as well.

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel….

Return,
we beseech thee,
O God of hosts:
look down from heaven,
and behold,
and visit this vine.

Let thy hand be upon
the man of thy right hand,
upon the son of man
whom thou madest strong for thyself.

So will not we go back from thee:
quicken us,
and we will call upon thy name.

Turn us again,
O Lord God of hosts,
cause thy face to shine;
and we shall be saved.

Psalm 80

Yes.

Amen.
