Filled with the knowledge of His will

I don’t understand God’s ways.

Too often, I do not even know them.

And that’s how He has arranged my thoughts relative to His.

Despite that, He wants to be known and understood and loved. So He has reached out to us. And continues to reach to us. Amazing!

Yet how easily I forget Him. Oh for the heart of a panting hart!

What God did about His people problems

Sometimes you just get a double dose of people problems.

  • Uninsured driver totaling your (best) car
  • A “number-defying” fellow-customer in the speed lane
  • Someone under your authority challenging you
  • The local gossip “featuring” you
  • Two in authority not pulling together
  • A friend ignoring you
  • The driver “waving” at you with the wrong finger
  • That person getting mad at you…again
  • You speaking ill-advisedly

Sometimes you get more than a double dose.

What did God do about His people problems?

As I have loved you
As I have loved you…

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us. 1 John 3:16

The love of Christ, which passeth knowledge. -Ephesians 3:19

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. -John 15:13

Ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. -2 Corinthians 8:9

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. -1 John 4:11

Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. -Ephesians 4:32

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. -Colossians 3:13

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. -Mark 10:45

Christ . . . suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps. -1 Peter 2:21

Ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. -John 13:14,15

We ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. -1 John 3:16
