So ponder the path you've chosen for your feet.

I need direction for so many things right now.

As father and husband. As Mission Board chairman. As a School Board member. As a church member. As a businessman. As a potential short-term missionary. As a potential teacher. As a friend.

I need to know the right path.

And I need lots and lots of light.

This morning I feel subdued and dark. And in the dark. And certainly uncertain.

Also this morning, I read this verse:

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18).

The enemy scoffs, “No light obviously means you’re not just.”

Nevetheless, I find comfort and hope and encouragement in that verse.

Thankfulness: a proof, fruit, and measure of righteousness

Psalm 140

“Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence” (Psalm 140:13).

Surely?

Wow!

Then it seems logical as well as Biblical to conclude that one of the proofs (and fruits and measures) of righteousness is thankfulness.
