From Psalm 83, my plea…and my commitment?
Keep not thou silence, O God:
hold not thy peace,
and be not still, O God.That men may know that thou,
whose name alone is JEHOVAH,
art the most high over all the earth.
I want God to not be still regarding my needs.
However, faaaaaaaaaaaar to often, I am still about what He wants from me!
Well, not this first verse, but keep on reading!
But as for me,
my feet were almost gone;
my steps had well nigh slipped.Nevertheless I am continually with thee:
thou hast holden me by my right hand.My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God
is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever.But it is good for me
to draw near to God:
I have put my trust in the Lord God,
that I may declare all thy works.Psalm 73
