If it had not been the Lord
who was on our side….

Then the waters had overwhelmed us,
and the stream had gone over our soul.

Blessed be the Lord….

Our soul is escaped
as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers;
the snare is broken,
and we are escaped.

Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 124

Just imagine if He hadn’t been!

Well, never mind.

Rather, remember that He did.

And He is.

And will.

I must cross this body of water.

There is no route around it. Nor under it.

I have no aircraft.

No watercraft.

No bridge.

And it’s too far to swim.

Turn back? Not an option.

The sea saw it,
and fled:
Jordan
was driven back.

Tremble, thou earth,
at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob;

Which turned the rock into a standing water,
the flint into a fountain of waters.

Psalm 114

Drinking water instead of flint?

I could use that also!
