Well, Who Is He?

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Reading:

Those times when I say who Jesus is, what do I say?

Otherwise, what does my life say about who Jesus is?

How well do I hear and retain what Jesus has to say to me?

Am I prone to challenge or question God’s plan and way of doing things?

Will I go after Jesus?

Where does my self fit into my life?

What am I doing with my life?

What am I giving (or taking, for that matter) in exchange for my soul?

What kind of reward will my works yield?

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Matthew 16:24).

Don't you just hate not being invited to a special event?

For many are called, but few are chosen.

Reading:

Am I receptive to all my King’s summons?

Do I take His words and wishes seriously?

When He calls, do I go His way or mine?

“Not worthy” — Lord, is it I?

How important is that wedding to me?
