The Bible says in Psalm 102:

He will regard the prayer of the destitute,
and not despise their prayer.

This shall be written for the generation to come:
and the people which shall be created
shall praise the Lord.

For he hath looked down
from the height of his sanctuary;
from heaven did the Lord behold the earth;

To hear the groaning of the prisoner;
to loose those that are appointed to death.

They shall perish,
but thou shalt endure….

But thou art the same,
and thy years shall have no end.

How I need to remember to rejoice and give thanks!

Psalm 97 reminded me of that again this morning. (Will it remind me later today as well?)

The Lord reigneth;
let the earth rejoice;
let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Ye that love the Lord,
hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them
out of the hand of the wicked.

Light is sown for the righteous,
and gladness for the upright in heart.

Rejoice in the Lord,
ye righteous;
and give thanks
at the remembrance of his holiness.

I am thankful God is holy.

I want to remember that today.

And I want His holiness to bring holiness to my life.
