Eben-ezer … Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.

I was brought low, and he helped me. — Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

I was encouraged in reading this earlier this morning:

The ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them to search out a resting place for them.

My times are in thy hand. — He shall choose our inheritance for us. — Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness; … make thy way straight before my face.
