Expanding my default theology into real living

Psalm 52

God as the understood source of my strength is a given. I’m a Christian, after all.

But God as my conscious go-to for strength in routine living is too often an oversight. 🙁

I thought of this in reflecting on this:

“Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength” (Psalm 52:7).

Encouragement for the broken and unbroken alike

Hurt? Sad? Discouraged? Offended? Upset? Bitter? Proud?

It strikes me this morning that none of those come from God’s Spirit. (At least not most types of those.)

So why do I allow any of them to reside in my heart and roil my mind?

I want to have a right spirit!
