Shepherd and Sheep

The LORD is my shepherd….
We are…the sheep of his pasture.

Psalm 23:1; Psalm 100:3

Reading:

Psalms 23 & 100

Just how obvious is it that the Lord is shepherding me?

How do I try to overcome my fears?

What is my cup doing right now?

Can people around me benefit from the goodness and mercy following me?

A whining complainer or a joyful noisemaker — which will I be today?

Do I act like service is enough (and the gladness is optional)?

Does God miss my praise?

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” (Psalm 23:6).

“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting…” (Psalm 100:5).

He Alone!

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Psalm 8:9

Reading:

Psalm 8; 147:1-11

Is God’s name excellent — noble, glorious, majestic, great — to me?

How do I develop an interest in and a consciousness of the work of His fingers?

Do I have a song (in my heart, at least)?

Am I in the habit of going to God for healing for my hurts and wounds?

Is God lifting me up…or must He cast me down?

Does God take pleasure in me?

“The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground” (Psalm 147:6).
