As he loved cursing,
so let it come unto him:
as he delighted not in blessing,
so let it be far from him.

Psalm 109:17

I don’t curse, so the first part of that verse slid by me this morning, almost unnoticed.

But the second part…. Ah, me! I must become a better blesser.

Now for a few more excerpts from Psalm 109:

But do thou for me,
O God the Lord,
for thy name’s sake:
because thy mercy is good,
deliver thou me.

For I am poor and needy….

I am gone like the shadow….

My knees are weak…
and my flesh faileth….

I became also a reproach….

I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth;
yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

For he shall stand
at the right hand of the poor,
to save him from….

…Save with thy right hand,
and answer me.

Give us help from trouble:
for vain is the help of man.

Through God
we shall do valiantly:
for he it is
that shall tread down our enemies.
