When the Lord turned again
the captivity of Zion,
we were like them that dream.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter…
then said they among the heathen,
The Lord hath done great things
for them.

The Lord hath done great things
for us;
whereof we are glad.

Turn again our captivity, O Lord….

They that sow
in tears
shall reap
in joy.

Psalm 126

Such a fitting Psalm for me.

Again.

Yet I wonder, “When?”

Again.

I am grateful for the promise.

And the Promise Giver.

I hang on to both.

Lord, strengthen my grip! Thank you.

They that trust in the Lord
shall be as mount Zion,
which cannot be removed,
but abideth for ever.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem,
so the Lord is round about his people
from henceforth even for ever.

…Lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

Psalm 125

I declare my trust in God.

But what is that to do to my living today?

I believe in God’s presence with me.

But what should that do?

I hope those aren’t hard questions for you…like they are for me.

One more thing: I purpose again to draw my hand back from that which is evil.

So. Help. Me. God.

For without His help, I can’t.
