Reading:
Genesis 8

So Noah and those with him were cooped up and adrift with death and destruction swirling all around them.

For a long time.

With nowhere to go.

Stuck, in a sense. Safe, yes, but “stranded” in the ark.

God had remembered to preserve them from the death and destruction.

But what about after the horrible episode was over?

“And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark…” (1).

God still remembers!

Even me!

“After the test, rest” — I just thought of that one.

And this one: “During the test, rest.”

I’ll take a mega size order of after-rest and an even bigger one of during-rest, please.

(Thanks!)

[And God remembered (Genesis 8:1)]

Reading:
Psalm 97

Just for you — verses 9-12:

For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Below is the phrase I picked out from there. What’s your choice? Please tell us in a comment.
