Early this morning, I arrived at this verse:

“The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with” (Proverbs 17:14).

Once you’re in it, it’s hard to know when to let go of contention. So it’s better not to take hold of it in the first place. Continue reading →
