Proverbs 30:1-10

I didn’t get very far into the chapter before my heart seized hold of a verse.

“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him” (5).

I reaffirm my trust in Jesus Christ.

I reaffirm my commitment to God’s Word.

Shield me, Lord! I desperately need that. I feel so vulnerable.

Proverbs 29:19-27

“He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length” (21).

How contrary is that to normal things?

A slave become as a son?

A servant as the heir?
