This is one way I want to pray with greater frequency and greater fervor.

I don’t pray like I ought.

This is one way I want to pray with greater frequency and greater fervor:

“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man” (Ephesians 3:16).

For myself.

For my family.

For my friends.

I want me and them to be spiritually strong, to be mighty in His Spirit.

We live in terrible times, dark times, perilous times.

Many are being deceived. Many more will be deceived.

I don’t want any of the above to suffer that fate.

Several times in Ephesians 2 we are reminded of previous times in our lives. In those times (see verses 2, 3, 11, 12) we were contrary to what God has in mind for us.

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us…” (4)

…made all the difference!

And not just in the past.

But now or whenever I need it in the future.

So instead of losing heart and giving up because of my past (or on-going) failures, I should turn again to God.

Call for His help. Scream for His help (if that’s how I’m feeling).
