[The LORD thy God shall bless thee...in all the works of thine hands (Deuteronomy 16:15)]
from Deuteronomy 16:15

The Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand. —Gen. 39:3.

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. —Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. —Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall he added unto you.

As long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper. —Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: and thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

Is not the Lord your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side?

Peace. Rest. Success. Happiness. Well-being. Prosperity. Blessing. God’s presence with me.

Those all sound so wonderful to me right now!

So…will I trust? and obey? and do good? and fear God? and delight myself in Him? and seek His kingdom and righteousness first?

That must be the explanation.

In this context, I don’t know to what else I should attribute it. 🙁

Thy name shall be called Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. —Gen. 32:28.

By his strength he had power with God: yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him. —Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. —If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. —Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Lord, increase our faith.

Lord, I believe. But my faith is exceedingly small and terribly weak. Help my unbelief. (See Mark 9:24.)
