How does “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” affect my life?

“Let no man deceive you by any means” — what am I doing to implement that?

Do I have “the love of the truth”?

In what do I find pleasure, enjoyment, and/or entertainment?

By what means does the “sanctification of the Spirit” express itself through me?

“Stand fast, and hold” — how am I doing?

Such good things to enjoy and live by in verses 16 and 17! Do I?

“Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace” (16).

“Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work” (17).

[The Scriptures say in 2 Thessalonians 2:10 -- Because they received not the love of the truth]

Would I feel uncomfortable in a church like the one described in verse 3? verse 4?

Have I trained my eye yet to find in others reasons to glorify God?

What in me brings glory to God from others?

It’s early in the morning — how shall I use my life to glorify God today?

Being in God’s presence — is that high on my list of priorities? (How high?)

Do I admire God?

For whom do I pray “always”? Why? How?

I bear the name of Christ — is that a glorifying thing for Him?

Counted “worthy of the kingdom of God” and “worthy of this calling” — wow!

[The Scriptures say in 2 Thessalonians 1:10 -- He shall...be admired in all them that believe]
