This morning as I continue pondering my life and some of the Pressing Big Issues in it, I wonder many things. These seem like the top four:
- Christ in me would respond through me by…
- If I wholly lived by obedient faith, my next step would be to…
- What commands of Christ are we presently obeying?
- Which of His commands are we passing over?
The last two shouldn’t be difficult to answer. I have the Bible as my source book — it should be easy to build a list of answers.
But the first two… Should they be any more of a challenge?
Well, the first incomplete sentence should also have the concluding phrases and clauses in the Scriptures, at least generally speaking.
But the second sentence awaiting completion…
It occurs to me that perhaps I should also (or first?) be asking myself, “How many parts of Galatians 2:20 are true of me?”
with Christ:
nevertheless I live;
yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by the faith
of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
And now I wonder if this bullet point goes under the first incomplete sentence:
- publishing this blog post.
