When you see much to be troubled by…
Remember the man walking on the water.
He quit looking at the Man walking on the water.
So he began to sink.
But did the right thing.
And got back to walking on the water.
Was he on his own feet by then?
Or on the Other’s?
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Matthew 14:28-32
So…do you see much to be troubled by?
Are you sinking because of it?
Then your focus is wrong, Mark!
I want to instinctively look to Jesus.
And when I don’t do so instinctively, I want to remember to do it.
