Got Pity?
Thou hast had pity on the gourd…. And should I not spare Nineveh…?
Jonah 4:10,11
Reading:
Jonah 3:10-4:11
God worked with the repentant Ninevites — will I be graciously flexible?
God worked with unrepentant Jonah — do I throw up my hands too soon?
Which do I prefer to be — redeemer or judge?
What do I know about God…and how does it affect my thinking and living?
“God prepared a gourd…. God prepared a worm…. God prepared a vehement east wind…” (Jonah 4:6,7,8).
Can I discern God at work in the “little” things and events in my life?
Would I survive my own attitude toward Jonah if it were directed toward me?

I knew that thou art a gracious God (Jonah 4:2)
