Do Right and Wait
And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
Luke 14:14

What do I know about humbling myself?
What shall I do with my pride?
Do I seek out those on the low end of the social ladder?
Can I wait for my reward, even till the resurrection of the just?
On what basis do I ask God to excuse me from His calls to me?
Will I allow God’s priorities to rearrange my own?
“And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready” (Luke 14:17).
