“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee” (6).

I know that’s specifically talking about the city of Jerusalem. And maybe generally about the nation of Israel or even the Jewish people.

But when I read that this morning, I thought about the church. About God’s people.

We are God’s chosen!

So pray for the peace of His people. If the followers of the Prince of Peace have no peace, who will?!

You might even pray for the peace of my family. That would be really nice.

And more than nice.
