Reading: Luke 3:1-20

That’s what the people listening to John the Baptist wondered.

“And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?” (10).

They heard his message. They understood his message. They accepted his message. They took his message to heart. They were ready to act on his message.

No, not all of them, of course. Others, instead of a “Now what?” response, had a “So what?” response.

I want the “Now what?” response.

I choose a “Now what?” heart.

I will do what He says.

By His grace alone.
