Reading:
Luke 10:17-24

Jesus gave seventy of His disciples special power and authority and sent them out to proclaim His message.

They came back with joy, particularly focused on something truly amazing: even the demons obeyed them. Wow!

Then Jesus reminded them what should bring them even greater joy.

“Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven” (20).

So I look back at yesterday and wonder that I didn’t rejoice in that. At least I don’t recall doing so consciously and purposefully.

Every day, I need to remember that I have been redeemed, that my name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

“Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul!”

“O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy” (Psalm 107:1,2).

[Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see (Luke 10:23)]

from Luke 10:23

A little bit more from Luke 10: Defeated!

Surely you could add something...
