Some situations are so difficult, living through them seems impossible, let alone resolving them.

The pain we bear and the desperation we feel overwhelm us, sometimes.

And sometimes, the difficulty, pain, and desperation has to do with our very own selves.

Whenever I feel that way, I must appeal to Jesus, as did another man long ago:

“But if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us” (Mark 9:22).

Jesus promises help to all who believe.

“Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

How I need His help!
