I’ve really been struggling with a decision: Should I go on another trip (and be gone from home two weeks again)? I truly believe God could use me to help and encourage some friends. But I don’t know if God wants me to go.

So before reading Psalm 21 this morning, I prayed a little bit. One thing my prayer included was the request for clear-to-me direction. It also included a commitment to do whatever He told me to do.

And what should I read almost right away?

“Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.” (2).

Yes! He will give me an answer. May He also give me sharp eyes to see it.

That reminds me of this:

“The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them” (Proverbs 20:12).
