Cows and Pre-Apples
All creatures, great and small.
The black calf is very skittish and curious.
Apples in the making!
Such pretty apple blossoms!
Down our drive
Cows are such curious creatures!
Little and delicate vs big and hardy
The Lord God made them all.
Look Up! (And Down!)
So look up!
But while you’re looking up, remember….
So look down!
Their Creator (and yours) is risen indeed!
Four Critters Here
I shot them yesterday afternoon.
Killdeer mama. Roosting. And watching me!
Squirrel. Perched. Chewing. And watching me!
Bull. Big bull. Chewing his cud. And watching me.
Ladybug. Headed for cover. After seeing me?!
I Don’t Deserve It!
It’s so easy to feel that way. And believe that way also.
“What did I do to deserve this?!” is our cry sometimes.
Perhaps I need to adjust my perspective.
No. Not perhaps. I do!
So let me try my hand at it….
- I don’t deserve this; what I deserve is far worse!
- What have I done to not deserve this?
- I remember that time I didn’t get what I deserved. And that time. And that time. And….
So there you are.
But I still have a hard time (sometimes) thinking I don’t deserve this. 🙄
(What is this? Never mind. Just remember the lesson.)

Warm Springs, Oregon
It’s a neat little town to drive through. We go through it when we go visit our children near Madras.
