Meeting House and Super Moon

Saturday (March 19, 2011) night at 10:10 Pacific Time, I posted this to Facebook:

I better go out to look at the moon while it’s this close.

I took my obsolete Kodak CX7330 camera to capture the historic event: the once-every-18-years (?) super moon.

Here’s my favorite of the resulting photos:

Fall Apples, Roadside

Yesterday morning, early, I rolled the garbage can out to the side of the road.

And decided to take a few early-morning, sun-rising fall photos. Of the maple trees. And the fog.

Then I looked west down the road.

And saw the fallen apples.

I’m thankful I could see those apples at that time of day in that kind of lighting with that kind of background.

Hazy Sun

Yesterday morning I went out to unchain the dog.

I saw the sun rising on the just and on the unjust.

I shot the sun.

And the van and the door and me and the floor and the boxes.

It also reflects off my pate!

Here it is, sneaking in through the somewhat-ajar door.

Many cheers for sunshine!

Socks. Blessed Right Off?

Yesterday morning the folks at Master Books Homeschool posted this question:

How is God blessing your socks off today?

So I took a photo of me:

Mark Roth's socked feet
Blessed?

I actually have a caption superior to that one, but maybe you’ll come up with it on your own.

Yeah, that’s right — if you have a good caption, please post it as a comment below. Especially if it answers the question.

Or if you would rather just answer the question, that would be great as well.

Above all, love God!
