I’d been thinking that the opposite of “gay” pride is “straight” humility.
But I just wondered a bit ago if matching up double opposites would have the same effect as a double negative in English.
Thus the opposite of gay pride might be straight pride or gay humility.
Because straight humility might be doubly opposite of gay pride and thus Read it all
I used to make computer wallpaper using (generally-)scenic photography and personalized Psalms (and other Scripture verses).
I wanted to have a day’s outstanding verse fragment before me all day.
Alas, I still forgot to remember and focus on those Scriptures. 🙁
So this really resonates in my heart: Read it all
Then you may not want to bother reading this.
Especially if you find a certain pleasure in being down and disheartened.
I understand. Too well. So well I empathize.
Which is why I am posting some practical things that help me cast down dejection. Read it all
I just Googled peace prize and gospel treyvon (among other searches), checking for recent (last 24 hours) news stories.
From what I could tell, no Nobel Peace Prize winner has stepped up to knock down the fires since my post yesterday, Calling Peace Prize Laureates. (Or before, for that matter.)
Nor could I see any evidence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ being offered as applicable to the race mess that continues to burble and gurgle. Read it all
We are.
Does that mean we too are collapsing?
Not necessarily.
How do I change that answer to “No!”?
Before I get to that, I just want you to know that Read it all
