Taliban buying children for suicide bombers

Pakistan’s top Taliban leader, Baitullah Mehsud, is buying children as young as 7 to serve as suicide bombers in the growing spate of attacks against Pakistani, Afghan and U.S. targets, U.S. Defense Department and Pakistani officials say.

A Pakistani official, who spoke on the condition that he not be named because of the sensitive nature of the topic, said the going price for child bombers was $7,000 to $14,000 – huge sums in Pakistan, where per-capita income is about $2,600 a year.

These youngsters surely end up in the arms of the Everlasting Father, who surely will avenge the cruelty inflicted upon them.

Repeat Customer

As I scanned the email orders, my scan jolted to a stop. The email address was familiar. So was the last name. I opened the order and confirmed it is the same person.

Last year the customer ordered and paid for 24 CDs.

After a series of emails and phone calls, the customer ended up with 12 duplicate CDs from us.

And I ended up convinced we’d been lied to and defrauded.

By someone claiming to be “Reverend.”

Now we have another order.

And the payment for it.

I’m planning to refund the payment and cancel the order, explaining that I just can’t take the risk.

What would you do with the rev’s order?

Would you do further business with her?

School’s SADD funds used to stage drunken party

Drunken teenagers at a party funded by a high school’s anti-drink-driving group have trashed a rural Southland hall.

Bottles were thrown at passing cars and into a children’s playground during the out-of-control party, organised by high school pupils using money from the St Peter’s College SADD Students Against Driving Drunk committee, last Friday.

I wonder what MADD has to say about the matter. (No, I don’t; otherwise, I’d Google the matter.)

Maybe this whole episode was a SADD test. After all, how will you know who’s against driving drunk unless you find out which drunks refuse to drive?

Still…to think SADD organized a drinking party…. 😯

Obama’s Kenya Birth

It is common knowledge throughout the Christian and Muslim communities in Kenya that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., the United States Presidential candidate, was born in Mombosa Kenya.

And how did I come across this piece?

Well, Google told me — because of the use of Anabaptists in the post.

Yup, that’s right. Anabaptists.

You see, the paragraph before the one I quoted says this:

I’ll indulge one comment: Interesting.

How many readers are aware this has been going on behind the scenes?

Apparently the Obama team has been thrown a wrench that they thought they had put behind them. A solid date has finally been issued by the US. Supreme Court for Obama to prove his Birth Certificate.

The case is now quietly before the US Supreme Court and he has been ordered to provide proof by December 1, 2008. The Electoral College meets in December for the official election of our President.

The United States could be headed for a Constitutional crisis not provided for in the constitution. Meaning there is no precedent or constitutional instruct on how to proceed if Obama is found ineligible to serve.

I wonder if WorldNetDaily has anything to say about this. Lemme check….

Nope, not that I saw just now, anyway.

Senator Biden, since he’s the present Vice President-elect?
Senator McCain, since he’s the Presidential candidate with the second greatest amount of votes in Election 2008?
President Bush, since he’s the sitting President?
Vice President Cheney, since he’s the sitting Vice President?
Senator Clinton, since she would have been the Democrat nominee if Senator Obama hadn’t beat her in the primaries?

OK, that’s enough of that. The whole thing requires a willing suspension of disbelief. 😆

Democrat Barack Obama came up a big winner in the presidential race in Dixville Notch, N.H., where the nation's first Election Day votes were cast and counted early Tuesday.

Obama defeated John McCain 15-6. Independent Ralph Nader was also on the ballot, but received no votes.

The first voter, following tradition established in 1948, was picked ahead of the midnight voting and the rest of the town’s 19 registered voters followed suit in Tuesday’s first minutes.

That may well summarize this whole election thing.

If Barack gets an extra vote for every twenty cast, he should be settin’ pretty well before this time tomorrow night.

Confession: I made it up

A McCain-Palin campaign volunteer who claimed she was robbed and cut by a supporter of Sen. Barack Obama has confessed to making up the story, police sources told the Tribune-Review.

Why do people pull dumb stunts like that?

Oh, I know — “they” got to her and threatened her to the point of making the above confession. 🙄

Whatever the case, search your own heart: Are you disappointed this isn’t something that can be made to reflect on the Obama campaign?

That aside, this reminds me of what the “mantra” (what does that word mean?!) used against a black Supreme Court nominee — “It’s the seriousness of the charges” that matters, whether or not the charges are true. Maybe somebody will use that same logic in this case. “So she made it up. What of it? It still says something about Barack that such charges would be so believable.” blah, blah, blah

Barack Obama said he wouldn’t do something or other regarding financing for his Presidential campaign.
Barack Obama did indeed do that something or other.
Barack Obama flunked “tests” that Dan Quayle was hounded and mocked about.
Bob Dole resigned from the Senate to run for President.
Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John McCain, and Joe Biden didn’t resign from the Senate though they ran (or are yet running) for President or VP.
Hillary said repeatedly she wouldn’t run for President.
The media was very supportive of John McCain during the primary season.
Joe Biden declared Obama someone who shouldn’t get on-the-job training in the Oval Office.
Al Gore’s poll numbers in 2000 were pre-reminiscent of McCain’s in 2008.
A Gerald Ford foreign-policy-type observation cinched the noose around his campaign.
We were warned years ago about fluoride being put in water with the intent of making the American populace meek, mellow, gullible, and ripe for overthrow.
