OK, I don’t want to get hung up on the Trayvon Martin case. However, I thought posting a series of comments from my Facebook Wall would help clarify what I was getting at as well give a little “equal time” to an alternate perspective.

Why the focus on Trayvon Martin?
Scores of people donned “I am Trayvon Martin” apparel.
The President of the United States claimed Trayvon’s looks for the son he doesn’t have.
Protests and beatings have been “arranged” in Trayvon’s name. Read it all

Lots of colors, in fact. 1
White is condition.
Spiritually, a good condition. 2
Physically, not necessarily so. 3
White is a race. Read it all
Over the weekend, in the course of keeping up with a bunch of friends online, I saw four friends’ photos that left me dismayed, if not desilusionado.
You wonder who they are? 🙄
For the purposes of this post, their identity doesn’t matter.
You wonder where I saw them?
Online, I said. You know, places like Facebook and Twitter, G+ and blogs.
Maybe I mean noodle-spined. Or pansy-hearted. Or gutless.
On the other hand, perhaps all those adjectives are ill-fitted to the term Christian.
Whatever the case, I call to your attention the matter of risk-taking disciples of Jesus: Read it all
