Ken Miller Case: Motion to Dismiss

A week ago today, Kenneth Miller’s legal representative filed a motion to dismiss the case against his client.

I agree.

However, I still am uncomfortable at Read it all

In our singing yesterday morning, those words caught my attention.

Thankfully, in this context:

“He owns the ransom, and forgives
The hourly follies of our lives.”

For folly, forgiveness!

Thank you, Lord!

Truly, “I Need Thee Every Hour.”

Christians kill Muslims.

Muslims kill Muslims.

Muslims kill Christians.

Christians kill Christians.

Which of them do so as an exercise of their faith? Read it all

All around us we face opportunities to fear.

And many of those constitute legitimate cause for a fearful response.

But we also have a genuine alternative for fear.

First, though, four questions to introduce the alternative:Read it all

At 11:25 pm last night, Andrew Breitbart tweeted an explanation and conditional apology for an earlier derogatory comment to the tweetee.

Some five minutes later, he wound down a face-to-face conversation with a stranger.

I just read excerpts of a 2004 “faith and you” interview with now-President Obama.

If he still holds those views, I must pray for his redemption or revival.

But what about my own spiritual condition?Read it all

Obedience to God could be quite tedious.

What an unfortunate, unhappy, unfulfilling disposition to have!

Better this: “I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart” (Psalm 40:8).
