That makes Amazon Prime even more enticing.
Here are two excerpts from Amazon’s announcement: Changes to Amazon Free Shipping:
Amazon’s minimum order size for free shipping has changed to $35.
Millions of Amazon customers have already made the choice of faster shipping by becoming Amazon Prime members. Prime includes unlimited Free Two-Day Shipping, with no minimum order size, on more than 15 million items […]
I learned about this earlier today from Ina Steiner at EcommerceBytes:
Amazon has raised the bar to qualify for free shipping through its “Free Super Saver Shipping” program, increasing the minimum requirement from $25 to $35.
So to get Free Super Saver Shipping on your Amazon purchases you’ll have to squeeze at least $35 worth of goods into your cart. 🙁
- Try it free for 30 days!
- Unlimited free two-day shipping
- No minimum order size
- $79 a year
Please note that though they hawk all kinds of videos and movies and what-not, the unlimited free shipping is for all kinds of stuff.
So give the free trial of Amazon Prime a 30-day test run. If you don’t like it, just be sure to cancel in time.
