Right now I have ten listings on eBay, with treasures-or-trash-or-both ranging from vintage player piano rolls to a coffee mug for a son-in-law to a banjo music box.
Now I have another idea (which I’ve already posted to Facebook and Google Plus).
Put a bunch of stuff together in a single listing and give people choice at a set price.
For instance…
Choice: $7.50 + shipping
In that photo you see (or would, if you looked closely enough):
- Set of four round nesting baskets
- Set of three painted copper (I suppose) bells
- Pyrex measuring pitcher for household/photographic use — 1 cup — #508
- Dansk mug
- HLC mug
- Piano and bench music box
- Enameled (me thinks) pan and lid
- Ceramic pitcher — made in Italy
- Mystic — a Ty unicorn
- Cast iron skillet — no name — #3
The Budget and the ruler aren’t part of the lot. But could be, if you’re interested.
Anything you’re interested in?
Or something you don’t want but you know is worth more than $7.50 and should be listed individually?
Seems like a lot for not much. I’d price it at $10.00. I tend to think in 10’s and 20’s; maybe others do to. I’d definitely be interested if I lived closer.
Thanks for your input, Rebecca, though I’m not quite sure how to take it.
If you mean the $7.50 is too little for all those items, I meant apiece, not for the lot.
Or maybe you mean $7.50 is too much for any of those items…
🙂
