I know — that sounds like a racist statement made worse with the class-warfare element.
But it’s the truth, isn’t it?
And can you blame him for making that kind of selection for running mate?
I mean, hasn’t that route worked for every single President of the United States?
Actually, I don’t know the answer to that question. And I’m too uninterested to research the matter. I just know that in my lifetime, every last Vice President has been a rich, white guy.
In fact, I can think of only two major-party Presidential candidates who did not have a rich, white guy running for Vice President alongside him — Walter Mondale and John McCain.
Like I said, picking a VP running mate that’s male, rich, and white has a history of working at least once every fours years.
No wonder he picked a rich, white guy.
Can you blame Mr. Obama?
Or Mr. Romney?
