You. Practice Critical Thinking

As you may know, I was at another church this past Saturday for the wedding of my now-nephew and already-niece.

In my wanderings there, I saw a poster. I photographed it. Today I found it online. Here’s the graphic I found online:

MCC anti-death penalty poster

Apply some critical thinking to its message.

What’s true?

What isn’t?

What does the Bible say?

  1. The thrust of this incident is all about forgiveness. Second, it is about consistency – where was the male? it says she was caught in the very act. Law stipulated that BOTH be killed. God’s law is not selective in that some will have the sentence of sin and other be allowed to go scot free. The only thing that will free a body from the law of sin and death is mercy, forgiveness from the LORD and repentance on our part. This is the point of this story. The release from the sentence of death is a result of the law of mercy operating.
