So I took a break from hanging out at Linn-Benton Community College (Albany, Oregon) and went driving south on Highway 99E.
Before I got to the Highway 34 overpass, I saw this billboard:
I’ve been to that church! If you can’t go visit them (as they invite), you could at least stop by their website: Tangent Mennonite Church.
That railroad bridge looks mighty rusty; keep Oregon green, I say:
Not knowing where I was going or what I was looking for, I drove all the way through Shedd and missed the cafe. So you don’t do the same, notice it’s south of the Shedd Market:
Here are some photos I took inside, the last showing me fishing out my wallet to pay for the taco salad and Pepsi I had.
So if ever you’re close to Shedd (Oregon), please stop by and say “Hello” to the Brian Krabill ladies. Buy there and you’ll be well fed.
(The taco salad was close to more than I was up to eating!)
(Oh, the gal you catch glimpses of? Adrienne.)
