If the UN was wrong before, is it still wrong?
And more importantly, what’s Israel going to do about it?
(And what do you propose to do about it?)
I think it would be nice for Iran to have a nuclear capacity, ONLY if for deterrent value so that they and their people should not end up like Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Gaza, any of the places the US and Israel like to destroy (while they ignore other threats and injustices elsewhere on the globe). I know most government leaders of any nation are wicked men, and it is the innocent populations who bear most suffering, but people fear greatly that the US and Israel will never stop their killings and destruction in that region from one country to another to another. Let’s not be dupes of our government leaders, wicked men (-at best, merely human and very prone to mistakes) who have their own motives and agendas that are rarely what they tell their citizens they are. We have Jesus who has told us right and wrong, and view and treatment of enemies and wicked men. Where there is life there is hope, and Christians have the greatest truest hope of all. Never should we be deceived into supporting (even passive mental assent) wars and murders, even at cost of our own lives. We are not God, to judge and send anyone to end of their life and hope.
