God wants His people to live by the Bible, not swear by it.
“But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne: But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil” (Matthew 5:34,37).
So why should Christians be in an uproar about this next matter?

Ok ok so I get your point but really…This IS America..and America was not founded on the Quranor th eLoran or the Book of Morman or any other such book. Thie Bible IS Truth..what better foundation to affirm one’s oath of service. When in America…DO as Americans do… I know you better than to believe you have bought into multiculturalism…
